Traveling India I Happy I Came I Saw I Made It Awkward Shirt spent so much time with the Sikhs they took me in as family and never asked for anything. I mean really never ever asked me for a single thing. Not once. Multiple families took me into their home even provided me clothing food and a place to live for a long time. I ended up living in a few gurdwaras giving service in the kitchen mostly washing dishes. It was the most beautiful time of my life! If you do eat at the golden temple, be sure to join the cleaning crew afterward to help. It’s an industrial operation on an impressive scale run by amazing, friendly people.
Happy I Came I Saw I Made It Awkward Shirt, Tank top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, And Hoodie

I could only do 2 hours of Happy I Came I Saw I Made It Awkward Shirts but helping wash a kabillion food platters while conversing in broken English with the washer next to me was an experience I‘ll never forget. IIRC this is done at every Sikh temple. They have food available regardless if you even attend. Definitely, one of my favorite religions to learn about. I hate voicing my opinion online because I terribly fear the responses of it, but goddamn do I respect these people. The idea of taking time out of your day to help anyone that could want/need a meal is amazing.
