After having purchasing a variety of these essential t shirts last year in V neck with short sleeves, I found although all were comfortable because I wear a lot of black and gray I kept reaching for the black t shirt to layer under sweaters, t shirts etc. for an added layer of warmth. This year I purchased three black long sleeved black tshirts so I would always have a clean one. They are comfortable, warm, and feel nice against my skin. I wear them in layers or alone. They travel nicely. The round neck looks nicer than the v neck when layering under sweaters or shirts. Great under a blazer or jacket. Great value for this price point. I would jighly reccomend this t shirt.

I’ve bought several colors. Perfect stretch. Holds shape. Perfect slightly below hip length. I threw out the rest from other brands. I like these under scrubs and to wear when I’m not working. I’m a person that pushes my sleeves up a lot and then pulls them back down. The wrists on these do not stretch out. Also, when shopping, I HATE when I try on stuff all day and then the shirt I’m wearing is all stretched out. Not these! I’m only bummed because I came back to order more, and I can’t get a hold of any right now.

This is my first Amazon Essentials clothing purchase and I wanted so much not to like it – Amazon is just…everywhere. Enough already! It’s only a matter of time before I move into an Amazon Essentials assisted living complex (extra pillows for Prime Members!) First though, I am going to have to get more of this shirt. I’m tall, and love that this is long enough. Even the sleeves. And it doesn’t gape at the neckline as some do on my bony frame. The T-shirt has some stretch without being clingy. The fabric blend is super soft, and the shirt washes and dries without warping. There are lots of colors and an unbeatable price, so start with one and then decide if you want to stack them to the rafters. My one complaint (other than the shame of contributing to this vast monopoly) is that the shoulder seams are slightly rough on my collarbones. Additional trips through the washer may smooth them out.

I liked the short sleeved Amazon shirts so much I decided to try the long sleeves. I am very pleased! I realize there are some complaints about the length of the sleeves, but I am 5’11” and have long arms…and I can actually wear these shirts! I bought medium so they are snug to wear under sweaters, etc. I probably would prefer to either lose weight or buy a large to wear them by themselves, because of my “mom belly”. They are pretty much true to size. The length is average length I think the t-shirts might be slightly longer, which I prefer) and the sleeves are nice and long. (Photo shown). The fabric is nice… there is enough cotton in these to feel cottony and breathable, but whatever the fake stuff they put in it is enough to make it feel soft without feeling weird or making you sweat too much. I have no idea what company is making these for Amazon, but the quality is really nice. I usually wash these and then fluff in the dryer for a few minutes and then hang to dry.

This is a lovely basic long sleeved shirt. I was looking for a light colored neutral top that wasn’t light grey or white, and the oatmeal heather was a fantastic option. It’s a light beige color, but the heathering gives it just a bit more personality so it’s not so boring.
The fabric material is so soft, and it is the perfect thickness for layering. I live in SoCal, so I can get away with wearing this just on its own, but you will definitely need to wear something over this in colder climates.
The fit was also true to size for me; like others have said, if you want a closer fit, get your usual size and if you want a looser fit, size up. I am “lucky” enough to be between a small and medium, and the medium fits me just ever so slightly loosely, which is spot on. I have a long torso, and I am so happy that the length is long enough to cover my lower back sufficiently. Very happy with this one, and will be purchasing more!

I purchased the royal blue and heather light grey in an x-large as well as the large to see which one fit best. The x-large was just a little big and the large was a little too fitted. I wear U.S. dress size 14 or a 16. I prefer my tops to be a little loose so that if I remove my sweater or jacket, I will not look like I squeezed into the top. I would highly recommend this top. I have not washed it yet, but the royal blue looks brilliant and the light heather grey goes well with the rich dark purple and burgundy pairs of pants that I have. I will retain the x-large for comfort. My bust size is a 40D, if that helps. If you like fitted clothing, you will prefer the large. If not, go with the x-large.

My arms are an inch longer than my height. I have great difficulty finding shirts that fit me especially if I dry them. This shirt is a perfect fit for me! Please don’t change it.
The material of the shirt is perfect as well. It’s so comfy, stretchy, and cozy. It keeps you warm, but also keeps you cool. It holds its shape after many washes, doesn’t pill, and doesn’t shrink with drying! Because of the stretch it stays where you put it. Push sleeves up or pull them over your hands a bit and it stays comfortably. It doesn’t roll up the back or front and falls very flatteringly over a mommy tummy and/or muffin top. It doesn’t wrinkle or crease so you look fresh all day.
I hope to get more in different colors next year again.

I ordered these shirts in several colors in XL. I probably should have ordered a large, but am still happy with the fit. I’m 5’9″ and long bodied. These shirts actually go to my hips, which most don’t. They’re not ‘tunic’ length, but long enough that if you’re long bodied, these shirts are going to work for you.
I ordered the light pink color…..the fabric these shirts are made of is substantial enough to NOT be see through but not so thick that layering these shirts would be a problem. They are form fitting shirts, so a boxy tee-shirt look isn’t going to happen.
Enjoy them…wash on cold and gentle, hang to dry and they should last a few seasons.

This cotton feels so high quality. I put the shirt on and I immediately feel warm. This is the kind of shirt that I want as a first layer in the winter. The sleeves are really of nice length, some may say long but they are perfect for me. The length of the shirt is great too. The shirt is just so soft and washes and drys well.We hang most of our clothes and this dries on a hanger nicely. I don’t write many reviews but I am for others who are seeking a nice quality warm winter layer. Amazon you’ve really done a fine job here. NOTE: all of the diffent color shirt fabrics are a little warm etc. They are all quality though.
