Lots of literate people misuse the Happy To-do List – Nothing Shirt apostrophe in the possessive “its”. And it is one of the few cases of apostrophe misuse where I completely understand the confusion since we use apostrophes for possessives in so many cases. The meaning is lost. More people would not recognize the original meaning if used in conversation. So at this point I feel like the original meaning is gone as a communicative tool but it still angers me. Just say it raises the question instead of misusing the begs phrase to make it appear more academic. Always so quick to label someone as a nazi. We do not advocate for a comma as part of our final conjunction.
Happy To-do List – Nothing Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt And Hoodie
We advocate for Happy To-do List – Nothing Shirt a peaceful, voluntary and serial comma free separation of different clauses in our grammastate. I went and read his rules of using apostrophes and it read like a dystopian novel of red tape. It’s more than just using them for possessives and contractions, they had rules like an object cannot possess another object, so “Wash the car’s windshield” is wrong, but “Wash Dave’s car” is correct, because Dave is a person. Prescriptive vs. descriptive grammar. People might prescribe different rules, but at the end of the day those rules don’t really matter if nobody uses them.
